Art and Ag Tour

Explore the connection! Washington County is rich in agriculture and we have many talented artists and artisans living and working here. We bring art and agriculture together.

The Art and Ag Tour is a self-guided driving tour through beautiful Washington County, NY on May 5th, 2024. The Tour provides you the opportunity to experience a range of artworks and farming styles in a single day. Visit nine farms and explore the local art scene with artists and artisans at each farm stop from 11 am to 4 pm.

View Vineyard is a stop on the Tour and we offer guided walking tours of our vineyard along with wine tasting sessions, wine by the glass, snack plates with local cheese and bottles to go with case discounts. Four local artists will be set up on our farm with their artworks - Annette Arnold, Ann Fitzgibbons, Jacob Houston and Naomi Meyer.

The Art and Ag Tour features artists and artisans at nine local farms – two vineyards, one hopyard, one apple orchard, one flower farm, one goat farm, one food and fiber farm, a beef farm and a dairy farm with a farm store. A range of farm products and artworks will be available for purchase on this Sunday before Mother's Day.

Our roots are in agriculture, and the beauty of the agricultural landscapes has inspired artists for generations - from Grandma Moses to today’s artists and artisans. Explore Washington County on the Art and Ag Tour.
