Who Wants Wine?
Victory View Vineyard's tasting room opens for 2018 on Saturday, April 7th at Noon. We begin the season with eight wines - three whites and five reds.
To celebrate we're releasing our limited edition lacrosse wine - 2016 Fieldstone - when we open on Saturday.
Every growing season is different and so are the wines we make. We don't make every wine every year. We begin with eight wines - many are our customer favorites. Some will sell out quickly. Right now we have just a few cases of Lafayette and Freedom available.
New this year - our winemaker crafted our first blend of our marquette, maréchal foch and frontenac. We plan to release this red blend later in the summer.
Here's our opening lineup:
2015 Revolution - marquette – dry red, American and French oak staves suspended in stainless steel tanks
2015 Turning Point - marquette – dry red, aged in American oak
2015 Freedom - frontenac – dry red, French-American hybrid oak barrels
2014 Independence - marquette reserve – dry red, French oak barrels
2015 Lafayette - maréchal foch – dry red, aged in American oak barrels
2015 Abigail - la crescent – semi-sweet white, aged in stainless steel
2015 Charlotte - la crescent - German-style dry white, aged in stainless steel
2016 Fieldstone - lacrosse – dry white, aged in American oak barrels
More snowflakes are falling as I write this. Stop by to see us - eventually, we will have Spring weather! Cheers!
